Tour Plan

Day 1: Airport – Colombo

You will be welcomed by a Hope Lanka representative at the airport before being transferred to your hotel in Colombo. In the afternoon, begin a sightseeing tour of Colombo, visiting notable landmarks such as the Fort area, Pettah market, Town Hall, Independence Square, BMICH (Bandaranaike International Convention Hall), and the National Museum. You will also drive through the residential area of Cinnamon Gardens. En route to your hotel, visit a Buddhist temple and a Hindu temple to experience the cultural diversity of Colombo. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Colombo.

Day 2: Colombo – Anuradapura – Giritale

After breakfast, proceed to Anuradhapura for a sightseeing tour of the ancient city, including a visit to the Sri Maha Bodhi Temple among other historical sites. After exploring Anuradhapura, continue your journey to Giritale. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Giritale.

Day 3: Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Giritale

After breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya and climb the Sigiriya rock fortress, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its ancient rock fortress and frescoes. After exploring Sigiriya, continue with a sightseeing tour of Polonnaruwa, another ancient city renowned for its archaeological ruins. Visit notable sites such as the audience hall, council chamber, royal citadel, Kumara Pokuna (pond), Royal Pavilion, Siva Dewale, Vatadage relic house, Kiriwehera, Gal Vihare with impressive sculptures, and reservoirs. Conclude your day with an overnight stay at a hotel in Giritale.

Day 4: Giritale – Kandy

After breakfast, we will proceed to Kandy, with a stop en route to visit the Dambulla Cave Temple, famous for its rock cave paintings and statues. Upon arrival in Kandy, check in at your hotel. Later in the evening, visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, where the sacred tooth relic of the Buddha is enshrined, followed by a cultural performance showcasing traditional Sri Lankan music and dance. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Kandy.

Day 5: Kandy – Pinnawala – Colombo

"After breakfast, commence a sightseeing tour of Kandy, exploring its cultural and natural attractions. Visit the Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, known for its diverse plant species, and explore the local market place and arts & crafts center. Return to your hotel for a brief rest. Check out from the hotel at 13:00 PM and depart for Colombo. En route, visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where you can observe and learn about elephants. Enjoy an overnight stay at a hotel in Colombo."

Day 6: Colombo – Departure

At Bandaranaike International Airport, according to your flight schedule, you will be transferred to the airport for departure. Ensure you have ample time to check-in and proceed through security before your flight.
